WARRI
Born and raised in Delta State. Francis and Helen Oyimi, my parents, framed what it means to be of service: use what you have so there is productivity around you.
2021 TO 2023
Yimi's Room, my podcast. Three seasons and 37 episodes of shalaye: faith, Nigeria, school, love and being yourself.
Every episode still plays → 2022 TO 2023
ICY Images, my photography. Other people's best days, and the places in between, which is where the darkroom on this site comes from.
The frames → 2024
Twine Campus. Started from a campus social idea, became a company and a team of eight. Designed all 83 screens of the rebuild myself. Live on the App Store at three universities.
2025
New Venture Challenge, Audience Choice Award. The first time a room full of strangers voted for the thing.
2026
Audience Choice again, and Venture Gallery runner up. Redesigned Remi as 45 screens and drew its fox. Built Mama Budget in 24 hours at MHacks. Started Twokriks, from Warri, to record the languages phones do not understand.
PEOPLE
